Once a certification exam window has started, or a course/lab environment has been provisioned and accessed, that specific item becomes non-refundable - see the sections below for exact terms.
Academy courses and LMS access
If you have paid for an Academy course or LMS-based program and have not yet accessed any paid course content, labs, or live sessions, you may request a full refund within 7 days of payment. Once course content has been accessed, a live session attended, or a batch has started, fees become non-refundable except where required by law or where VaultX is unable to deliver the enrolled course.
VCPT certification exams
Exam fees are refundable in full any time before your identity verification is approved and your exam window begins. Once the exam window has started, exam fees are non-refundable, consistent with our Examination Policy. If a technical fault on VaultX's side prevents you from completing an exam you have started, contact support and we will re-issue your exam voucher at no additional cost rather than process a cash refund.
Products and subscriptions
One-time product purchases may be refunded within 14 days of purchase if the product has not been activated, provisioned, or used beyond reasonable evaluation. Recurring subscriptions may be cancelled at any time to stop future billing; fees already charged for the current billing period are not prorated or refunded except where required by law.
Non-refundable items
- Exam fees once the exam window has started.
- Course/LMS fees once course content, labs, or a live batch has been accessed or started.
- Any fee explicitly marked as non-refundable at the time of purchase.
- Third-party processing fees, where applicable.
How to request a refund
Contact us with your order/registration reference, the item purchased, and the reason for your request. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take up to 10 business days to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.
