What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. They let a site remember information about your visit, such as whether you are signed in or which theme you selected.
How we use cookies
We use cookies only for essential and functional purposes: to keep you securely signed in to the main website, LMS student portal, and VCPT certification portal, to protect forms against automated abuse, and to remember your display preferences (such as your selected theme). We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising, and we do not sell information collected through cookies.
Categories we use
- Strictly necessary - session and authentication cookies that keep you logged in and keep your session secure. The site cannot function correctly without these.
- Functional - remembers preferences such as your selected theme, so you do not have to reselect it on every visit.
- Security - supports form-abuse protection (for example, CSRF protection and rate-limiting) on login, registration, and contact forms.
Third-party cookies
Some pages embed third-party content (for example, a maps widget on our Contact page) that may set its own cookies under that provider's own policy. We do not control these and recommend reviewing the relevant provider's cookie policy directly if you have concerns.
Managing cookies
Most browsers let you view, delete, and block cookies through their settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in or using authenticated areas of the site (LMS, VCPT portal, admin panel), so we recommend only blocking non-essential cookies if you wish to limit cookie use.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our use of cookies changes. Continued use of the website after an update constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. See also our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information more broadly.
